Your Attitude gives you the results in your life!

If you don’t believe this I can prove that it works. I had an experience with the Motor Vehicle Department “DMV” last week that opened my eyes. Having the right attitude made the difference.

I had the title for a vehicle that needed to be transferred, it is a long story but the vehicle has been sitting for 20 years in a building that we own. The title was in the process of getting transferred back in 1986 and needed a signature from the owner. He passed away and his son was taking care of the Estate when he also passed away! Now what do I do? The title transfer has been in limbo not knowing how to resolve this issue. The State wanted documents signed and I know that wasn’t going to happen! It wasn’t a pressing issue, after all the car has been sitting 20 plus years but I still needed to follow up on the transfer.

We grabbed the papers and headed to the DMV to see what we can come up with. I decided before I walked in to thank the person for helping me before she even started. I also asked her to create a miracle for me! The smile on her face was awesome; she made a few phone calls and went out of her way to help me. Her lunch break came and another gal offered to take this process over, she refused to go to lunch! I walked out of that office with the correct paperwork and instructions on how to get the title transferred without the original information the DMV was requesting.

How awesome were those results. What would have happened if I had walked in with negative attitude? If you want better results give them a compliment “Truly mean it”, ask for their help and smile. Deep down everyone wants to help out; it is up to us to ask.

Sometime I even get unsatisfactory results, when this happens I take a close look in the mirror. We will be our worst enemy if we let our attitudes control the results in our life..
