The New Year has arrived!

The year 2011 arrived and arrive it did... with a snow storm that dropped almost a foot of snow along with blizzard conditions. Some days I really wonder why anyone would live in a climate like this. Then I quickly remind myself that I am very grateful to be able to put 20 layers of clothes on and stand in frigid weather shoveling frozen precipitation.

Looking at my poorly updated blog today I see my last entry was back in July! I thought with blowing snow and cold temperatures, I could or should do a little update. OK the truth is after looking at my URL statistics and seeing how many times you guys have visited my blog I better do SOMETHING in this new year.

Speaking of URL traffic, I have to give credit to Mike Dillards "Building on A budget" for sharing some easy steps on getting more visitors. This past year has been so busy with everything from business to projects around the house and little get aways I'm hoping things will be a little slower this coming year.

It will never be too busy for a little Harley riding. The gears are turning on what I can do to my Harley before the riding season starts. Usually my modifications aren't too extreme as my bike is for riding and not showing! Found some guys in Utah that are making a sliding tour pak, this caught my attention so far and will be doing some investigating.

Starting a new year also brings changes to current laws around the country. One change that we have been following is texting and distracted driving, this is one of the reasons that we believe we are in the right place and the right time with FDI Voice. Imagine updating your Twitter or Facebook status using just your voice... with FDI we have ya covered! We know the laws will not eliminate texting and I don't believe that it should, just be responsible and use hands free services like FDI Handsfree. Everyone around you is somebodies family, keep the roadways safe.

Ok, here is my update and if you want more check me out on Twitter or Facebook. This was way more than the 140 characters I'm use too! Micro blogging just fits my thought patterns.

May this New Year find you and your family safe and prosperous.

Scott
